Nintendo Switch charging port replacement costs £65, with a six-month warranty. Other faults, including battery or motherboard problems, need a diagnosis and quote before any work is carried out.
Charging faults are not always the port
A damaged or loose USB-C socket may be the problem, but a charging symptom alone does not identify the failed part. Tell us whether the battery icon appears, whether the console ever powers on and whether the issue began after a knock or liquid spill.
Do not force the connector, insert tools into the socket or hold the cable under pressure to make it charge. If there is visible damage, stop using that connection and ask us to assess it.
Tell us which Switch you use
Include whether you have an original Nintendo Switch, Switch OLED or Switch Lite. If the problem involves a dock, describe what happens when you use it and when you connect the charger directly. Ask us what accessories to bring so we can investigate the reported fault.
Diagnosis, port replacement and testing
We check the charging fault, explain what we find and confirm the recommended work. Where a damaged socket is the cause, the £65 service covers charging port replacement. We test charging afterwards. A different fault is quoted separately before repair.
We will give you a realistic turnaround after assessment. We do not offer Joy-Con or other controller stick drift repairs.

The £45 service includes internal cleaning and re-pasting, or replacing or re-spreading liquid metal where appropriate for the console. We diagnose shutdowns and overheating first; other faults may need a separate repair, quoted before work starts.
All repairs include a six-month warranty. We confirm the expected turnaround after assessment, taking parts and workload into account. We do not offer controller stick drift repairs.
