All orders placed on our website are subject by the purchaser to acceptance of our terms & conditions set out below.
All goods ordered are subject to stock availability and acceptance of your order by ourselves. Credit card orders will only be accepted providing the registered cardholders name and address is given and a land based phone number at that address. Mobile Phone numbers only will not be accepted you must state a land line telephone number.
AC Computer Warehouse are under no obligation to fulfil an order and accepts no responsibility for loss caused should the item become out of stock or no longer available or the credit card information given does not check out using our Credit Card Checking facilities. If we are unable to fulfil your order for whatever reason you will be notified by email or phone.
It is not possible to reserve any of the products featured on our website or place a deposit unless an application is sent by email and is accepted by ourselves.
All prices are based in sterling and are subject to VAT at 20% plus delivery at the rates shown at the checkout. The amount charged will be in Sterling currency.
Goods sent outside of the EU are not subject to VAT and although VAT may be included in the price at the checkout, it will be deducted when payment is taken and you will be invoiced accordingly.
Carriage charges are shown and added to your bill at the checkout. These charges are based upon the size, weight, number of items and delivery method. Charges vary from £4.95+VAT for small postal items and from £10.95+Vat for items such as portables and other equipment requiring insured courier delivery. A C Computer Warehouse. reserves the right to amend these charges should extra costs incur. You will however be notified by email or phone prior to any charge taken and goods being dispatched.
Goods are despatched by 1st Class Post or overnight courier. 1st Class post items will be sent same day or next day, larger items such as PC’s can take up to 3 working days as these need to be built, set-up and tested before they are despatch by courier on an overnight service. Monitors, Printers, Peripherals etc are normally sent out next day from order however on occasion an order can take longer to dispatch due to supply and demand.
AC Computer Warehouse accepts no responsibility where the Courier or Postal Service is at fault for delayed delivery once the goods have been despatched.
AC Computer Warehouse does not supply computer equipment on a trial basis.
Cancellation of your order
Upon acceptance of your order you may cancel at any time between placing your order and up to seven days after receipt of the goods. Cancellation must be made by email, fax or by contacting our Customer Services Department on 0161 476 2220.
Returned items must be returned carriage paid within 48 hours upon notification. They must be complete, unused and in the exact same condition as originally shipped.
Where goods have been returned in used condition a 20% restocking fee will apply.
All goods will be refunded within 30 days of your notification of cancellation of your order.
All goods sold via Mail Order are sold in accordance with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Unless otherwise stated in the product description, all goods are supplied with a one year warranty. Certain products contain their own manufactures warranty, which may vary between manufacturer up to 3 years. Where there is a manufacturers warranty set out in the product documentation then the warranty will remain with the manufacturer and therefore the purchaser will deal directly with the manufacturer or one of their authorised service centres.
AC Computer Warehouse accepts no responsibility for any losses incurred when dealing with the manufacturer in accordance with their warranty terms.
Should the product carry a return to base warranty then the product may be returned back to ourselves in accordance with our RMA Procedures set out below.
Return of faulty goods
In the unlikely event that your goods should develop a fault within the first 48 hours of purchase, A C Computer Warehouse will collect your goods, repair or replace after receipt of your defective item. Advance replacements will be issued where goods are reported within 48 hours of delivery. Should the defective item appear not to be defective then a fee of £25+VAT will be charged to cover carriage and labour costs. This does not affect your statutory right.
Reporting a fault
To report a fault you may email our Technical department firstname.lastname@example.org or call Customers Services on 0161 476 2220.
You will then be issued with an RMA number. Please ensure that the RMA number is clearly marked on the outer box. Returned items should be sent together with a copy of your proof of purchase and a letter stating the exact fault of the item to our warehouse, at the address on your invoice. It is the customer’s responsibility that goods are returned in the condition they were sold in, as A C Computer Warehouse accepts no liability for goods damaged or lost in transit.
We regret our Returns Department cannot accept any goods returned without a valid RMA. Only the fault described on the RMA will be repaired under warranty. A C Computer Warehouse accepts no liability for loss of data or any inconvenience caused while returned goods are being repaired. Goods will only be repaired or replaced at the discretion of A C Computer Warehouse. Please return all goods fully complete in their original packaging with the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the packaging. We aim to repair and return goods within 5 days however some repairs may take longer.
The warranty does not apply to items which are subject to wear & tear eg. printer cartridges, batteries, etc. and other faults caused by accident, neglect and misuse eg. broken hinges, screen catches & smashed screens or any broken plastic parts or goods broken in transit back to us.
Unless goods sold are supplied with a manufacturers international warranty any warranties supplied by A C Computer Warehouse do not apply outside the mainland UK.
These Terms & Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
