A note on physically failed drives. We carry out software-level (logical) recovery from drives and media that are still detected by a computer. If a drive has physically failed — for example it’s clicking, not spinning or not detected at all — that needs specialist cleanroom recovery, which we don’t do in-house. We’ll always assess it first and tell you honestly so you can decide on the best next step.
