Frequently asked questions

How long does a mail-in repair take?

Turnaround depends on the fault, the parts required and the type of device. We’ll give you a realistic timescale once we’ve diagnosed it.

Do I need to send the charger?

Not always. For some power, charging or battery faults we may need it — we’ll tell you when you get in touch.

Do you repair liquid-damaged laptops by post?

Yes. We can inspect and assess liquid-damaged laptops and other devices sent to us by post, though outcomes can’t be guaranteed.

What if my device can’t be repaired?

If a repair isn’t viable or worthwhile, we’ll explain why and talk through your options — including a refurbished replacement if that’s the better choice.

Do you carry out motherboard repairs?

Yes — we diagnose and repair many motherboard and board-level faults, depending on the device and the extent of the damage.

Is my quote confirmed before you start?

Yes. We inspect the device and contact you with a clear quote before any approved repair work goes ahead.

Do you return devices by post?

Yes, we arrange return delivery once the repair is complete and approved.
