What “refurbished” actually means
A proper refurbished laptop has been fully tested, cleaned, repaired where needed, and set up ready to use — not just wiped and resold. At AC Computer Warehouse every machine is checked over, given a fresh operating system, and only sold once we’re happy it’s reliable.

- Big savings — often hundreds off the price of new, frequently for a better-built business-grade machine (Dell Latitude, HP EliteBook, Lenovo ThinkPad) than a similarly-priced new budget laptop.

What to check before you buy
- Is it tested and warranty-backed? This is the big one. A warranty means someone stands behind it. (Ours come with a warranty.)
- Storage type — insist on an SSD, not an old spinning hard drive. It’s the single biggest thing for everyday speed.
- Battery — ask about battery condition for a laptop you’ll use unplugged.
- Condition grade — light cosmetic marks (Grade B) save you money and don’t affect performance; pick the grade that suits you.
- Who you’re buying from — a local shop you can walk back into beats an anonymous marketplace seller every time.
