Service update: AC Computer Warehouse does not offer controller stick drift repairs. This includes Nintendo Switch Joy-Con, PlayStation and Xbox controllers. Earlier versions of this article incorrectly advertised that service.

What is Joy-Con drift?

“Drift” describes unwanted movement when you are not moving the control stick. You might notice a character walking, a camera turning or a menu selection moving by itself.

Where to get help with Joy-Con drift

Visit Nintendo’s UK repair support and choose Joy-Con for the current support and repair options. Check the applicable terms directly with Nintendo before arranging a repair.

For PlayStation or Xbox controllers, consult the manufacturer’s support or a repair specialist that explicitly offers stick drift work.
