The £45 service includes internal cleaning and re-pasting, or replacing or re-spreading liquid metal where appropriate for the console. We diagnose shutdowns and overheating first; other faults may need a separate repair, quoted before work starts.
All repairs include a six-month warranty. We confirm the expected turnaround after assessment, taking parts and workload into account. We do not offer controller stick drift repairs.

HDMI port replacement
No picture or “no signal” can come from a damaged HDMI port, a cable, display settings or another internal fault. We diagnose the cause before recommending a repair. We replace the HDMI port at board level and test the output before your console goes back.
Overheating & professional clean
If your console runs hot, gets loud or shuts down mid-game, we check the cooling system and investigate the cause. Work may include an internal clean, a fan repair or servicing the thermal interface appropriate to your console model.
Cooling fan replacement
A grinding or rattling fan needs checking; a loud fan alone does not prove it has failed. We assess airflow and fan operation, replace faulty parts where needed and test the cooling afterwards.
No power & power faults
If your console is completely dead, clicks off as it starts, or shows no light at all, we diagnose the power supply and mainboard and repair the cause — not just swap parts and hope.
Disc drive repair
Discs that won’t load, get rejected, are read intermittently or grind on insertion — we repair and replace console disc drives for PS5, PS4 and Xbox and test them with your games.

Yes — a damaged HDMI port (no picture or “no signal”) is one of the most common faults we see, and we replace it at board level. Most are turned around quickly once we’ve assessed your console.
Do you repair controller stick drift?
No. We do not offer stick drift repairs on Joy-Con, PlayStation or Xbox controllers.
My console overheats and is really loud — can you help?
We can assess it. Overheating and shutdowns can have different causes; the repair depends on the diagnosis and console model. We explain the recommended work before starting.
How much does a console repair cost?
HDMI repairs are £65. Internal cleaning with thermal paste or liquid-metal servicing as appropriate is £45. Nintendo Switch charging port replacement is £65. Motherboard faults and all other repairs need free diagnosis and a quote before any work.
How long does a console repair take?
Many repairs are completed within a few working days, depending on the fault and parts. We’ll give you a realistic timescale once we’ve diagnosed it.
Will I lose my games or saved data?
Most repairs don’t affect your games or saves, but we always recommend backing up to the cloud or a USB drive beforehand where possible.
Do you repair water-damaged consoles?
Yes — the sooner the better. We clean, inspect for corrosion and repair what we can, though outcomes for liquid damage can’t be guaranteed.
Can I post my console to you?
Yes. Our UK-wide mail-in service means you can send your console from anywhere in the country. Get in touch and we’ll explain how to pack and send it safely.
